The Matris 25mm Sealed Gas-Charged Cartidge kit completely replaces the OEM fork internals with NO modification needed. The OEM KTM RC8 fork is a bit out dated by Superbike standards and leaves much to be desired by way of tuning. Benefits of the F25SA gas charged cartridge kit over the F12R kit: A sealed gas charged system allows for more bottoming resistance without having to run an extremely stiff fork setup. Think Gas Charged System at the bottom of the cartridge like a pillow that when the forks are pushed to their limits, it allows them to ride very low in the stroke without a harsh/stiff bottomed out feeling.
