I got this for a 2021 KTM 890 Adventure, mainly for the cosmetics, since my bike is dark grey and the raw aluminum color of the stock muffler looked out of place to me. In terms of sound, it's not much louder but is a little beefier than the stock lawnmower sound. In terms of weight it works out slightly better than the numbers given in the item description. I weighed both mufflers on a scale accurate to +/- 0.2 lbs. Stock muffler = 8.2 lb., SC-Project = 5.6 lb. The installation was very easy for the most part (remove the bolt holding it to the frame and the clamp holding it to the cat and reverse the process with the new one). The one irritating thing was the little carbon fiber heat shield on the pipe (you can see it in the side view of the bike) needed to be installed with shoulder bolts and spacers designed to hold it tight without crushing the carbon fiber. The shield was too thin for the spacers and would not tighten up. Once I finally figured out what was going on, a bit of meticulous sanding got the spacers down to the right thickness to hold the shield tight. More hassle than an $800 muffler should require. Also the item description says "DB-Killer Included" which to me implies some sort of part that can be added or removed. There is none. Overall, the fit and finish is excellent, it looks cool, sounds better and is 2.6 lbs. lighter. I don't regret the purchase. Also, Rottweiler shipped it very fast, so that was good too.
