I broke the stock one when it wouldn't release after taking off the tank of my 1290 Adventure. The replacement I got was way heavier and better built than I expected . The stock one is really chintzy in comparison, not only that but this one almost disconnects itself. No more struggling with the recessed KTM button, I just releases as it is designed to.

After fighting with the factory plastic dry break it finally fell apart. I replaced it with this one and it’s never been so easy to reinstall the tank

I think every plastic connector I've ever had has failed at some point. Leaking fuel is not only inconvenient, but can ruin paint, plastics and permanently stain engine casings. The Rottweiler metal type dry break connectors have been just fit and forget. Even if you don't need the added security to travel the globe, do yourself a favor and fit them before the plastic ones ruin your bike.

Bought this when the plastic stock connector cracked while I tried to undo it. This one is not cracking anytime soon!! Well made and solid.

It couldn't of come at a better time, just when my factory connection busted it arrived, been for a couple of rides since fitment and bikes running sweet, seems to be getting better fuel delivery? maybe

This metal design fits together much better than the plastic OEM did. There's no guess it you have it connected completely as it slides in smooth and the click is quite obvious that you have it all together. Would have been a 5 star if they included clamps or had mentioned you still need them along with this. .

I replaced this on two bikes, because the oem was difficult to connect and i tend to take the rank off regularly. This is a operates much nicer with a confident click to confirm its connection.where the oem left me wondering and on one occasion disconnected an hour into a ride.
