It's a pump, but it fits right in just like the stocker as described with zero messing or mods. I didn't rig up to check pressure but there's definitely a "feeling" of improvement you notice in the fuelling. Reminiscent of fitting a walbro or Bosch 044 on my car and how they felt and we could see in the fuel map.
Could be the stock pump was getting worn, there was crap on/in the strainer and fine black contamination inside the pump housing. Make sure you thoroughly flush the tank, pump housing and galleries while it's apart, prime the new pump with fresh fuel and purge the feed line with fresh clean juice.
Will put it through its paces when my broken thumb heals ?
