These were very easy to install on the handle bars. That was the easy part. No instructions. The slip of paper that comes with the Grips say to go to www.ktm.com/manuals. Don't waste your time. There is no such thing there. youtube has some videos but are a bit vague. The big problem is that the accessory wires that these need to be plugged into are tucked inside
the headlight assembly which you have to completely disassemble to get too. This was a real pain in the arse. There are 2 sets of wires. The set with the Brown with the RED stripe is the one to use. This is switch on with the ignition. the other is hot all the time. so if you accidentally leave the grips on they will drain the battery. The Brown wire with the red stripe connects to the Yellow wire from the heated grip control. This is the 12 volt positive. This procedure took me about 4 hours. Putting this assemble back together was a real pain. trying to get 10 lbs. of wiring cluster back in a 5 lb. box is not easy. GOOD LUCK! I hope this information is helpful. I wish the woulds include detailed instructions with a product that cost $200.00.

Perfect fit, easy install, good range of heat.
These are a bit more expensive than the other aftermarket options out there, but the ease of install makes it worth it. They attach/detach just like the factory grips, which saves a bunch of time. The range of adjustment is really nice, too... four levels and the 3rd/4th ones are really toasty. And it remembers your last setting between key offs.

These grips are made by KTM and work well. They look and feel just like the original Grips on my 790, which I like. Thanks to Rottweiler for quick shipping so I could get on just before 3 day cold ride!

Install is a pain but they heat up fine
I installed these myself. The throttle side wiring routing was not intuitive. The instruction pictures did not help much. Access to the ACC-2 accessory wiring is required quite of bit of disassembly. The wiring was way harder to stuff back in then when it came out. Not a well thought out product by KTM. Having to add the controller to something that should be able to be accessed with the stock TFT seems stupid. Should be more plug and play then it is. This all being said they heat up just fine. I am just grumpy from the install.
