The Wave design was invented by Galfer in the early 90’s to solve the problem of water and mud on brake rotor surfaces of trial competition motorcycles. As they developed the design, they discovered an added benefit: the brake system was running cooler. This was worth exploring. Most popular compound! This compound is the work horse of the Galfer family and is a great OEM upgrade for the everyday rider.
HH Sintered Compound
Excellent feel and modulation, this sintered pad compound is built for aggressive street and trackday use depending on the application. Great heat recovery and easy on the rotor, this is the most popular high-performance compound. Precision made in the Galfer factory in Spain.
For moderately aggressive riding on street and occasional trackdays. Great for everyday sport street riding, canyons and aggressive or heavy braking.
