Biggest reason I had for installing the Arrow Decat is weight savings. Secondly I felt the bike was too quiet. I like to hear what's going on for shifting, clutching etc...This product is a good 4 pounds lighter than stock and really wakes up the exhaust tone. Seems to have moved power more into lower part of the powerband. Good for offroad. Good quality and not a bad install. I opted for this more expensive decat in hopes of retaining stock performance as it has some back pressure so won't lean out the fuel mixture beyond the bikes ability to compensate. So far so good.

You will feel the power in low mid rpm and sound not crazy at all 5 out 5

Hi All, if you’re thinking of upgrading the 890 exhaust - this is the way to go. The Italians knocked this one out of the park.
The performance and sound are incredible- not to mention dropping some weight.

I just installed my Arrow midpipe on my 890 Adventure R. When I got the original Cat out, I was amazed at the weight difference between the two. It feels like it runs a bit cooler, has a bit more power, and sounds great with my Akrapovic exhaust l

Good product quality, durable, holds up well in the dirt, water crossings etc. Loud with stock exhaust. Mellow delivery of power, no maintenance lights. Best part, lighter, open area to let dirt and debris fall through, no leaf fires under my seat and the excessive heat is gone.

The mid pipe took about one hour to install without seeing any instructional video. It fit perfectly. There was a slight weight reduction and a deeper, sharper sound to the exhaust.

I've had an Arrow Titanium Muffler for a while and finally got the Arrow Decat.
The arrow decat is 3.5lbs lighter than the catalytic converter. I've noticed a decrease in heat around my feet.
Install was easy other than when I went to put my skidplate back on it hit the header to decat clamp so I had to clock that differently, no big deal.
Slight increase in noise but not annoyingly so.

I had the Arrow titanium muffler and Rottweiler intake system on my 790R, which provided amazing results, once I installed the Arrow mid pipe the motor felt softer and didn’t have quite the punch as before. Thinking I might need the mapping adjusted or may go back to the stock cat.
