Product Details
Rebel X Sports manufacturers innovative Rally products for both KTM and Husqvarna. They've been involved with Dakar and Rally Racing for years and are taking the experience they've acquired and using that to develop innovative products for the open market. This is their much anticipated Street Legal KTM 790/890 Adventure Rally Kit. In development for over 8 months with the help of Malles Moto Dakar Rider Manuel Lucchese and thoroughly tested by Ex-Factory Dakar Rider Giovanni Sala, this is a true plug-n-play kit. Utilizing Factory KTM Rally components in the construction of this kit adds to the professionalism that's found in the construction of the Navigation Tower. The tower is constructed of aluminum then powder coated black for years of trouble-free use. It offers substantial amounts of real estate which opens the door for anything you want up in the rider compartment. GPS units, Trail Tech Voyager Pro even Roll Chart Holders are easily mounted and in direct view while sitting or standing. All accessories are easily wired due to the included fuse block conveniently mounted on the left-hand side of the navigation tower. In addition to the fuse block, there's a 12V power receptacle on the right side of the navigation tower ready for additional accessories such as cell phone charging. RebelX Rally Kit really is an all-encompassing kit that is well designed and as rigorous as 790 Adventure.

Solid Design, Looks and Functions Great!
Chose the RebelX over the others due to reputation. It's fit and finish is excellent. The tower's angles are perfect for the Dash and anything you may mount. Easy to see and read vital data when standing. Really solid construction which I expect will handle the hammering of going off-road.
I do have 2 minor gripes. There are NO instructions. It would be nice to have detailed with the video from Rottweiler as supplemental information. I had left over bolts and some other parts. I did not have any extra "holes" so I didn't miss anything but instructions would have told me if these were substitutes or were to be used in place of the OEM bolts.
The video skips the actual use of the included fuse box. I'm used to other brand fuseboxes where the positive and negative lead from the item you are installing such as a GPS unit is within the fusebox. Apparently the the tabs on the fusebox are only for the Positive lead. Negative or Ground lead is simply mounted to any ground point on the tower.
Again, while the video does a good job of explaining and giving an example of how pack in the wiring in the towers, it later states how there was plenty of room. That is true. No need to figure out how to tightly pack in the wiring. Just make sure nothing is binding. There is plenty of room in the tower so that you aren't trying to figure out how to make everything fit in as tight a space as possible.
One option I'd like to see, are some brighter after-marker headlights. I understand this comes with "street legal" lights. But when going off-road or even on dark roads these are like 90s halogen brightness. Very poor, they could still be brighter and meet "street legal" lights. Again would like to see them offer an brighter option.
With all that said, those comments are minor. Overall a really nice improvement over that ugly stock headlight unit.
RebelX Sports Rally Kit purchased thru Rottweiler Perf
I purchased this for my 2021 890R and it is “almost” worth every penny. I saved more than $1000 purchasing it through Rottweiler vs. from the OEM. This is due to exchange rate with the Euro and the very high freight cost from Europe.
It is a VERY well engineered, high quality product and went together easy enough. There is plenty of space for all your accessory’s, GPS, phone, roadbook etc. I opted to install a quick charge USB port. I also installed some smaller front LED turn signals although you can use the stock ones from your bike if you like.
The LED headlights provide great lighting at night and the wind screen really works well. I am 5-7”, 30 inch inseam and I get very little buffeting wearing a Klim Krios Pro helmet.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the HLU error message that shows every time you start the bike once this kit is installed. The message is easily cleared but the yellow caution triangle stays on. I was able to permanently get rid of this error by installing a “dongle” that properly interfaces the CanBus system with the LED headlights. This should have been included in the kit IMHO, especially considering how much you pay for this kit. Please note that this is not Rottweilers fault, it is an issue with RebelX and their design. I purchased the dongle from the nice folks at Rade Garage for $150 and it plugged right in and works perfectly.
After going through several different screen configs on my bike, this one is hands down the best for minimizing buffeting at highway speeds and really improved the look of the bike.
Thanks for reading. Be safe!

RebelX is solid
not only did i like buying this from RP, im also thrilled its from RebelX. RebelX has outstanding customer service and response even though it was purchased from another vendor (RP)
the kit is super high quality and has just as much use and function for regular ADV rides as it does in races. Is it expensive? yes, but its not cheap. everything is well thought out and of top notch quality.
For someone who drop their bike in just about every race, im happy the tower is aluminum. carbon fiber, though sexy and light, would have snapped on day one for me.
