Rottweiler Performance - Rear Master Cylinder Guard Kit - 390 Adventure

When I removed the plastic factory guards on my KTM 390 Adventure and installed these it was immediately apparent that these Rottweiler guards are worth every dollar. The factory guards will do nothing to protect the rear master cylinder in the event of a hit. When these are installed you won't have to worry about any damage. Definitely recommend.

The product is called a rear master cylinder guard, and that part was great. My order also came with a guard for the shifter side (surprise!) There was nothing in the packaging that said what this part was or what it was for. The quality of the products is very good.

The guard arrived as scheduled in secure package. It fit perfect and provides a more robust barrier than stock guard. I painted KTM Orange to match bike but the finish was excellent before I painted it. Another good Rottweiler product.

The KTM 390 comes with plastic guards that are pretty flimsy for off-road work. These metals ones from Rottweiler are way better. Plus, the strap slots work perfect with my Mosko Moto Reckless 80 bags. Obviously the main protection aspect is for the rear brake master cylinder and it's worth is just for that. The strap slots are just bonus. Kudos for a well thought out product.

I recently came across the rear master cylinder guards while browsing Rottweilers site. I thought they'd make a great guard, but they actually do double duty. First, they protect the rear master cylinder and as an added bonus they were able to build into the brackets, a great way to strap down your rear soft bags. Brilliant! They are well made, sturdy and have a great black powder coated finish with a nice Rottweiler logo screened on. If you are running soft rear bags, these brackets will make it much easier to strap them down!
