Side Panels - KTM 890 Adventure (2020-2022)

I didn't like the wide side panels on the bike, also didn't like the "naked look" without the side panels. I was very happy to find these, I think they look great.
One thing that I didn't like was how the screws squeeze the fiberglass. My solution was to use the KTM part #
79608052000 air spoiler bushings on the front lower and rear mounting holes. Those holes will need to be opened up very carefully with a file for a snug fit to the bushing. DON'T USE A DRILL IT WILL CRACK THE FIBERGLASS! After the bushings are installed those bolts can be tightened securely. Of course use thread locker.

Good service from Rottweiler. The side panels worked out well. I wanted to install a set of Perun luggage rails so I could carry essential items and tools on day rides but didn’t care for the look with the stock panels removed. I needed to modify the new side panels some to fit around the Perun hardware but I think it turned out nice.
