Snap Out (60 second filter change)

I highly recommend the Rottweiler Performance Snap Out (60 second filter change) for adventure riders. This is a great product to allow easy access for changing and cleaning the air filter. The Rottweiler Performance Snap Out product is well made and easy to install and once installed, you will save countless hours overtime accessing the air filter for easy maintenance.

Install was a bit more involved than anticipated and I had to hunt for instructions (the QR code on the packaging went to a broken link. Great idea in theory, but needs to be updated). Once found, the instructions on this site were thorough and easy enough to follow. I've already saved myself time and headache being able to pop the dash out and get to my airbox more easily. Totally worth it!

Great product. I was very skeptical at first but was very impressed. Liked it so much I bought a second one for my wife’s bike

Good product but would be nice if they just included the printed instructions in the box, I never could get them to download off the site.

If you've ever seen the video of the dude changing his pre-filter in under 60 seconds, then you know how this item works. It's crazy that KTM didn't think of this! You must have this for your bike.

If you have a 950/990 and are not using this you are wasting valuable time you could be spending with your loved ones , creating an art masterpiece or more importantly riding.. in about the time it takes you to find one of the six screw you dropped somewhere in the engine bay you could install this and never have to mess with them or the other six bolts again.. Bargain at twice the price

I was worried when I bought it, that it might not be stable, holding the glove box in place. It does....it is a nice tight fit and it assembled as it should. The instructions seem to forget to tell you to tighten the bolts on the fuse block. Use some lock tight here, too.
990s are getting a bit long in the tooth, but I am glad Rettweiler is still making good parts for us.

Complete game changer--turns removing the toolbox to pull a tank or access the airbox (I still have the stock one) into a 2-second job. With no possibility of a dropped screw! Seriously well thought-out and incredibly useful mod. Should probably be the first thing any DIY-er does to his/her 990.
