The unique shape of the carbon scoop directs valuable cool air to your front brake caliper in order to help keep things as cool as possible. Professional race cars and high end exotics have this technology designed into the chassis in order to keep brakes as cool as possible. When your caliper heats up, your brake fluid heats up, when that happens you experience brake fade. Brake fade causes your brakes to progressively deteriorate until they cool back down.
