These are a major upgrade from stock lighting. It's a must have if you ride at night.

Install is also fairly easy, does take a while pulling everything apart but hoping it will all be worth it.

Light improvement is obvious.

An incredible improvement over stock plus it matches the driving light now so that looks really great.

2015 1290 SA, with 2016 software update: Easy install, mounted resisters under head light shell using pop rivets. Ensured lead wires with thermal insulation passed near but not touching resisters. Bulbs fit well/snugly into shell. Reconnected turn signals and seats before testing to avoid error codes. No error codes on initial test. Ridden about 80 miles with no issues. At 66 years old I can now ride at night as required. Great illumination!
