If you already have or are considering purchasing a Powercommander V, and/or any of their accessories like Auto Tune, the POD-300 is a great addition to the family. When added, it can display any of the channels that are being tracked such as RPM, throttle position, injector duty, percentage of fuel alterations, ignition advance, air fuel ratios (requires Auto Tune) and more. Simply connect the included CAN cable and you’re ready to go. There is no need to tap power or deal with other messy connections.
In addition, the POD-300 has 3 LED lights (green, orange and red) that can be configured in any way you please to come on or off with changing throttle positions, RPM's, air fuel ratios and more. This can be really helpful when visual cues are desired for certain conditions. We use them with Auto Tune to tell us when the air fuel ratios are right where we want them. Green: for too rich, Red: for too lean and Orange: for just right.
Need to adjust your tune in the field? The POD-300 will allow 1/3 mapping adjustments. For example, if your rev limit is 10,000 RPM, you can adjust the fuel +/- any percentage from 0-3300, 3300-6600, and 6600 to 10,000. The POD-300 also supports data logging as many channels as you choose and will then export to Excel for further inspection. With the POD-300 you’re just a few clicks away from taking advantage of the many features with it’s easy to use menu system.
- Real time fuel adjustments
- Display channels real-time: RPM, TP, map position (when using map switch), duty cycle, fuel change, ignition change & wideband air/fuel ratio- (w/WB2 or AutoTune connected)
- Weather resistant for use in all conditions
- Log channels saved to internal memory and can be viewed / analyzed with Dynojet’s PowerCore Software
- High contrast display, viewable in direct sunlight
For mounting, if you already have a BRP Vibration Isolating Sub Mount, see our AMPS Mount here. If you do not have one of those, try the Trail Tech Vapor mount using 3M VHB double stick tape. We find it to be a clean and inexpensive solution to mount the POD-300 to the bars.
