Filter Skins

Rottweiler has insanely fast shipping. I’m located in the LA area and I’m not sure where their distribution center is but I ordered parts on Friday night and it was at my door on monday. This filter skin was one of the last things I ordered on a separate order and they came through overnight once again! I’ve installed the PC6, fueling dongle, and air filter kit and it completely transformed my husky 701. 10x better throttle response especially down low. Front wheel comes up in your face in 3rd gear just cracking the throttle

I love the packable nature of these filter skins. Carry them oiled and in a zip lock bag, then stretch on a new one when the one in use is dirty. Just that easy!

Great idea these filter skins work great! Put them on in two minutes! When dirty take it off throw it away and your good to go! Big time saver!

Nothing new here its just a quick way to extend your filter when riding in dusty conditions or your just lazy and want to not clean your whole filter. Pop one on when you service and clean your main filter then pull it when it starts to get coated and ride more!

On my KTM 690 Enduro, I have a Rottweiler intake system, many of these filter skins are a must. It keeps the real filter clean, and multiple changes a yr of the filterskins will insure the engine does not inhale dirt and will last a long time.
On my similar Husky 701 Supermoto, I have also have a Rottweiler intake system, and a filter skin, but on this application it never gets dirty, that’s how different the 2 bikes running environments are.

I use these to keep my main airfilter clean while on long rides. Much easier to change than having to clean my main filter while away from home.

If you use filter skins, your maintenance work is minimized - more play, less cleaning a foam filter. I will even use two filter skins when we are in really nasty, dusty conditions. When after a two week vacation I did clean the foam filter - VERY little particulate washed out.
I bought the Rotweiller filter system for our two KTM 690's because filter skins are so easy to use and change.

These fit spot on, are easy to install, and will be great for extended trips. If you bought the intake system, no reason not to get these as well.
