Why is it KTM can’t sell a bike that shifts smoothly without false neutral’s? My 2010 KTM 690 enduro r has 19k on it and is as broken in as it will ever get. The shift was so hard it would leave bruises on top of your foot. The install of the shift kit is very easy. It took about a hour with simple hand tools. The part looks very similar to the OEM one except it uses a bearing for the roller. The spring is a much stiffer spring and yet the bike shifts so easy with zero false neutral’s now. I would purchase again without hesitation for future motorcycles

Solid improvement but definitely not a cure
Quick and easy install. If you are planning to do it with a bike on a kickstand, expect to top off with about a liter of oil.
Shift feel is more positive and higher effort, so you get less false neutrals, but it definitely doesn't fix them like some people mention.
Got a ceramic version, didn't end up needing a new gasket that I got just in case.

Nice improvement over OEM arm. Just buy it. 45min from start to finish. Not sure how much better ceramic bearing is over steel bearing, even though I bought ceramic. Seems more about diameter & better rolling than OEM solid bearing. Didn't need a new gasket,

Solved "False Neutral" problem
This solved my " false neutral" issue with my 2014 690. Shifts are positive, regardless of engine RPM, although shift effort seems to be a little greater. It was simple to install and I definitely recommend this upgrade.

After watching the install video I found online the install was not difficult. Definitely noticed a huge difference in my shifts since install. Shift feel went from clunky and slow to buttery soft and smooth! Great product and definitely recommend! Get the gasket just in case. The case bolts are different lengths and would suggest loosening all and removing the cover with bolts still in there holes.

I tried to contact Factory Pro by phone and by email twice but they never answered me back, so i wonder what kind of product support I would get with them if something went wrong. Rottweiler replied that the fit was good and have always offered great customer service, but i really wanted to hear it from Factory Pro. No more false neutrals between 5th and 6th gear which makes this well worth it.

Best shift kit on the market
I've installed these factory pro shift kits in multiple bikes. From customers bikes, to my own.. I just put one in my 2019 KTM 690 smcr which was throwing false neutrals between 1st and 2nd, and 5th and 6th. I installed the shift kit with the ceramic bearing, and it salved all my issues that KTM should have put in their bikes stock. Even if you dont have false neutral issues, this kit will give your shifting a more positive feel, and better engagement period. Highly recommend getting one.

ktm duke false neutral cure
A good product that takes care on those annoying ktm false neutrals
I bought the ceramic version but a friend had the steel version and it works very well
I got the gasket as well which was 40 and cheaper than AUSTRALIAN ktm dealers !!!
The service and communication after purchase was very good and I’d recommend buying here

a definite improvement at 10x the cost
Easy installation and definitely improves shifting. No false neutrals or sticking in gear at high rpm anymore, so I guess it's worth it. It is stupid expensive considering the stock detent arm is $9 and the stock spring is $2. Makes you wonder if there is a detent arm from another bike that fits. My yz125 ball bearing shift arm was $14 from Yamaha. Definitely dont spend the extra for the ceramic bearings, they are not needed in this application. I rolled the dice and reused the clutch cover gasket too
